This is our initial attempt to create a blog to chronicle our travels around the world. It's designed for the benefit of our far-flung friends and relatives who may not get to San Francisco very often and thus do not see our photo albums.
Every time we take a trip, we'll try to post some information and few photos so you can share in our experiences. We also hope to become a resource for people looking for information about the places we have visited or the cruises we have taken.
We just returned from a one-week cruise from Venice to Mykonos, Athens, Katakolon, Corfu (Greece) and Split (Croatia). We followed that with a one-week land tour of northern Italy, visiting Assisi, Rome, Vatican City, Lake Como and Milan.
We had some of our best friends with us on the cruise and part of the land tour which made it special. And, most importantly, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our commitment ceremony (and my birthday). It was one of the most memorable trips we've ever taken.
